Second Lego event builds on previous success to draw in the crowds
Lego enthusiasts young and old from across the area descended on Murrow Village Hall at the weekend for the second annual celebration of the favourite construction toy.
An estimated 600 people flocked to the event held on Saturday, which not only included exhibitors showing off some of the models they had created using Lego, but also stalls selling sets of the popular toy - both new and previously owned.
Organised by Murrow Village Hall the event was held to raise funds to help cover the hall’s running costs.
One stall holder was delighted with the success of the day and said all traders were exceptionally busy throughout the event and all enjoyed a profitable time, while visitors enjoyed learning more about Lego and how it can be used to create everything from space ships to monster trucks.
