Serious collision closes stretch of A47 near Wisbech

Drivers can expect delays this morning following a collision on the A47 near Wisbech.

Emergency services are currently dealing with the incident which National Highways says has closed the busy road in both directions between the B198 near Wisbech and the A 17 near King’s Lynn.

A spokesperson for National Highways said: “This is due to a serious collision involving an overturned car.”
