Six boys arrested in connection with motorcycle and scooter thefts in Sutton Bridge area

Six boys – one as young as 12 – have been arrested in connection with a spate of thefts of motorcycles and scooters.

Police say the items have been taken from the Sutton Bridge area and have urged residents to keep their items locked and secured.

A 16-year-old boy from Norfolk, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested and charged with taking a vehicle without consent. He has been released on bail.

Another 16-year old boy was arrested and released without any further action.

On top of this, police say that two 16-year old boys, one 15-year old boy and one 12-year old boy were arrested for a separate incident and have been released on bail while enquiries continue into the matter.

Officers have urged the public to report incidents to them by calling 101.
