Staff praised for a nearly century of work at Chatteris company

Staff at a leading vegetable grower and supplier have been praised for clocking up nearly 100 years of service.

A total of 13 workers at the Produce World Group’s Chatteris site have been recognised for their loyalty totalling 95 years.

A special lunch was held and awards made to colleagues who have worked for the company for five or 10 years.

As well as certificates commemorating the occasion, they received High Street vouchers.

Site operations director Andrew Holding said: “Businesses are only as good as the people that work for them, and we are delighted to be celebrating nearly 100 years of dedicated service by these colleagues.”
