Sun shines on family fun day in aid of Wisbech charity
Wall to wall sunshine spelt success for a family fun day held in Wisbech at the weekend.
Saturday's event held at the Wisbech Town football Club ground was organised by Toni Bird in aid of the Alan Hudson Day Treatment Centre run by the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity in the town.
It included an array of live entertainment with performances from Lizzie Bryant, Barry Chase, Your Choir and Purple Angels.
There was a host of stalls, games and side shows as well as inflatables for the younger visitors to enjoy.
Among the numerous stalls was one organised in memory of former patient Vivian Killingworth.
Toni, who is the centre's fundraising coordinator, said: "It was a fantastic day with wall to wall sunshine. We had up to 400 visitors come along and although we are still counting up we estimate that we raised around £1,200 for the centre."
