Sunflower walk dazzles visitors to Emneth’s Fairview Nurseries

Visitors enjoyed fields full of sunshine at a local business at the weekend with a walk through crops of sunflowers.

The flowers were just one of the attractions on offer at Fairview Nurseries in Church Road, Emneth.

Dozens of families lined up to enjoy the walk through the fields before heading off to get lost in the Jurassic Maize Maze, where giant resin dinosaurs were lurking around every corner.

Fairview Events also includes a picnic area, peddle toy tractors, a bounce high trampoline as well as welly wanging and bean bag throwing.

Nicola Lintern who runs the events with her sisters Sarah and Lucy Melton at the family owned farm said: “It was great to see so many visitors of all ages enjoying the sunflowers. We have trebled the size of the walk this summer and we have a dazzling array of varieties of sunflowers.

“People are also able to choose one to pick and take home with them. We all have children and so we want to see families coming along and having fun and getting close to nature and making lovely memories.”
