16-year-old who crashed bike into car in Wisbech is arrested after police dog discovers drugs hidden in bush




A teenager who was found to have drugs after crashing into a car has been arrested.

A rider of a bike who crashed into the back of a car on Station Drive in Wisbech and then tried to make off from the scene was stopped by police who intercepted him and detained him nearby.

Police dog Walton assisted the officers by doing a search of the scene and found suspected class A drugs hidden in a bush where the boy was seen to have run to.

The 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of possession with the intent to supply class A drugs and has been bailed until August.
