Thanksgiving service for Wisbech woman Caroline Dobson

There will be a thanksgiving service on Saturday for much-loved Wisbech woman Caroline Dobson, who died in May 2020.

The service for Caroline (89), who worked for many years as a social worker in Fenland and spent much of her adult life living in Wisbech St Mary, will be held at the village church at 1pm.

Caroline is well remembered for her work in the Girl Guide movement, Wisbech St Mary Parish Church, youth work and the Octavia Hill Society in Wisbech. In later life she was an active member of the United Reformed Church in Wisbech.

All who knew her are welcome at the service and the reception which will follow.
