Three due in court after reports of hare coursing between Doddington and Chatteris
Three men are due in court accused of hare coursing.
Police responded to reports of hare coursing between Chatteris and Doddington yesterday morning (Tuesday, October 9).
Three men with dogs were located and they will now be summonsed to court.
Hare coursing is illegal under the Hunting Act 2004 and can damage to crops and harms animals.
Anyone who sees hare coursing taking place is asked to contact police immediately on 999 and provide officers with a description of the people involved, any registration numbers and vehicle descriptions and the location and direction of travel.
Its important people don’t confront hare coursers or put themselves at risk.
