Fenland Community Safety Partnership to give tips and advice to residents at event in March’s former Barclays building




Residents can get help with protection at a town centre drop-in event.

The Fenland Community Safety Partnership is offering information on road and fire safety as well as Neighbourhood Watches, cyber crime and anti-social behaviour from 11am to 1.30pm on Wednesday, May 14.

Held at the former Barclays Bank building in March, representatives from the police, authorities, fire services and health and probation will be in attendance.

Cllr Susan Wallwork, the district council’s portfolio holder for community safety, said: “This is an event for anyone who has concerns about any of these topics or just wants to know what they can do to better keep themselves safe.

“Taking proactive actions in the face of modern-day risks like cybercrime can hugely reduce your chances of becoming a victim.”
