Conservatives have won yesterday’s (Thursday, August 27) by-election in Wisbech.
Aigars Balsevics won the Staithe ward seat on Wisbech Town Council.
Results were:
Aigars Balsevics,Conservative - 240 votes
Reg Mee, Labour - 114 votes
Caroline Rosalie Smith, UKIP - 111 votes
The turnout was 23.16 per cent.
