LEARN MOREAround 50 tractors will be running through Fenland this morning (Sunday) starting at around 10.30am from Wimblington.
From there they will head to Doddington and on to Chatteris passing through the town past Cromwell Community College out on to the A142.
They will then turn off at the Manea junction and head to towards the village hopefully arriving in Manea around 11.30am.
The convoy will include both vintage and veteran vehicles right up to modern tractors as they arrive in Manea through Westfield Road.
It will continue on and out of the village via Wisbech Road and Fodder Fen as it then heads towards Tipps End and Welney and then turning back into Christchurch where the convoy will stop at the Dun Cow for lunch.
They will then make their way to March entering the town via Upwell Road, turning into Elwyn Road and then round the Market Place and back out through High Street on its return journey to Wimblington.
It is expected to arrive back at the Parkfield at around 6pm where there will be a bouncy castle donated by Kirby Kastles and then from 7.30pm there will be live music from Bondy and food and drinks will be available to buy.
A group of volunteer collectors will be accompanying the convoy making a bucket collection in aid of Magpas Air Ambulance. In the past the tractor run has raised over £2,000 for the charity.
