The London to Paris Bike Ride will be taking place from July 8-12, 2026.

If you prefer being on two wheels, the iconic London to Paris Bike Ride in July is another amazing way to raise funds, whilst challenging yourself.

This incredible journey will see participants pedal their way from London all the way to the Eiffel Tower in Paris, some 270 miles. It’s a fully supported ride, with accommodation, meals, and medical and mechanical support provided throughout the challenge.

Adam Matthews previously took up this challenge for Arthur Rank Hospice Care. He said: “The London to Paris cycle ride is an epic adventure across the countryside, from one iconic city to another.

“It’s one of the best cycle routes out there and such a great charity to raise money for.

“The sense of achievement when you see the Eiffel Tower and realise you have just peddled your bike all the way to Paris is truly unforgettable.”

The London to Paris Bike Ride is being operated in collaboration with St Nicholas Hospice in Bury St Edmunds and St Elizabeth’s in Ipswich. All cyclists will be raising funds for their chosen hospice. The registration fee for this challenge is £149, with an additional minimum fundraising target of £2,300.

These challenge events are crucial to the funding for Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, which in 2025/26 needs to raise £5.9 million, with the help of the community, to help fund the £14 million plus it will take to run the charity.

Gina Thomas, events and challenges manager at the charity, said: “These two challenges are truly special, each offering an unforgettable experience.

“Having cycled from London to Paris and participated in international trekking adventures myself, I can assure you that you will return with lifelong friends, incredible memories, and an immense sense of accomplishment not just from the physical feats you've achieved, but also from the significant funds you've raised.”

Arthur Rank Hospice Charity supports people in Cambridgeshire, living with an advanced serious illness or other life-limiting condition and those who need end-of-life care.

Services are provided free of charge to patients and their families, helping them to make every moment count. They care for more than 3,800 patients each year at their Hospice in Cambridge, the Alan Hudson Centre in Wisbech and in patients’ own homes across the community.
