Triple win for Wisbech and District Camera Club chair in annual awards
The results are in for this year's Wisbech and District Camera Club's special photographic digital image of the year competition - and it was a triple win for chair Ronald Whitehead.
Ronald won the open monochrome section with an image entitled simply 'Philip', he followed that with a win in the portrait and people section with an image called 'Charlotte' - and it was this picture which won him the coveted best PDI of the year award - scoring his three wins on Monday night (28).
Judge for the evening was Jim Bennett from Cambridge and supporting the East Anglian Federation.
There were six sections for him to judge and there was a double win for Judy Hodgson who first won the creative category with her 'Almacen Dancers' and then also the landscape and seascape section with 'Crimson Lake'.
David Hodgson won the Natural History section with 'Marbled Mapwing at Night' and Mike Burns won the open colour section with 'Out of Line'.
