Two arrested in Wisbech following drugs warrant

Police executed a drugs warrant in Wisbech on yesterday (5) and arrested a man and woman on suspicion of producing cannabis.

Police Dog Luna and her handler also attended the address, where officers jokingly said they had an "inside man" who "did not give the game away" posting a picture of a stone policeman on the property's doorstep.

A search of the premises and vehicles uncovered a number of items leading to the arrest of the two people not only on suspicion of producing cannabis but also on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs.

They have both been interviewed and released from custody under investigation while officers progress their enquiries.
