Drink-drivers arrested in Fenland
Police officers in Fenland made two drink-drive arrests on Wednesday.
At 7.51am attended a two vehicle road traffic collision on Kirkgate Street in Wisbech where a car had crashed into a bus.
The driver of the car was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after providing a breath test of 128ugs (legal limit 35) at the road side. The driver was taken to the police investigation centre at King's Lynn where enquiries continue.There were no injuries reported.
At about 11.15pm officers attended a single vehicle incident on the A141, Chatteris by-pass where a white Citroen motor vehicle rolled over and left the carriageway.
The driver of the vehicle failed the roadside breath test and provided a reading of 86ugs (limit 35) The driver was arrested and taken to hospital to be checked out before heading to custody.
