Fenland Police seize two vehicles and arrest man on suspicion of failing to stop and possession of drugs

Two cars have been seized after being driven illegally – with one man in possession of drugs arrested.

While out on patrol over the last few days, Fenland Police have taken two illegal cars off of the road for being driven irresponsibly.

On Sunday evening, despite initially failing to stop for officers along Elm Road in March, the vehicle was found parked on Creek Road with the driver trying to walk away.

The vehicle was seized, and a man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop, driving without insurance, and being in possession of a controlled drug. He has been bailed until August.

On Tuesday, officers also stopped a car on the A47 near Guyhirn after it was flagged as having no insurance.

The vehicle was seized, and the driver will be reported for driving without insurance and with only a provisional licence.
