Norfolk Police issue appeal after catalytic converter theft - with two men fleeing towards Terrington St John after stop in Wisbech
Two men fled from police following a catalytic converter theft last night.
Norfolk Police have issued an appeal for witnesses to come forward following the incident, which saw officers first called to Manor Road in Dersingham at 9.20pm on Thursday evening.
They had received reports of suspicious activity from a member of the public, and upon arriving police confirmed that a catalytic converter had been stolen from a Honda Jazz.
Following further enquiries, a black BMW was stopped on the A47 at Walpole Highway, Wisbech at 5.21am this morning (Friday).
Two people fled the scene in the Mill Road area, heading in the direction of Terrington St John.
They have been described as white males of roughly six feet in height, and wearing grey tracksuits.
Officers are now attempting to trace those individuals.
