Two more arrests in ‘no body’ murder investigation of missing Christchurch woman Julie Buckley
Two more people have been arrested in the ongoing case of missing Christchurch woman Julie Buckley.
A police spokesperson said: “A 49-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman, both from Christchurch, have been arrested on suspicion of aiding an offender and remain in custody at this time.”
Karl Hutchings, 47, of The Hill, Christchurch, near March, appeared at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court this morning charged with murder.
He is due to appear at Cambridge Crown Court on Wednesday (19).
He was charged in connection with the disappearance of Julie yesterday evening.
Detectives announced on Friday they were treating the disappearance of 54-year-old Julie Buckley as murder.
Police searches are continuing in the March and Christchurch area.
Julie, from Christchurch, has not been seen since late January.
Police have always aimed to find her alive, but evidence suggests she has come to serious harm.
Detectives have appealed for information about her whereabouts and would like to hear from anyone who has seen her in recent weeks.
