Two COVID-19 deaths at King's Lynn Hospital
Two new coronavirus deaths have been recorded at King's Lynn's Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
The daily update from NHS England shows that 147 people have now died at the QEH after testing positive for the infection since the outbreak began.
The latest victims are a man in his 30s and a woman in her 80s. Data shows that the most recent death was recorded last Tuesday, June 9, with the other on June 6.
Prior to that, the most recent death related to COVID-19 had been on May 30.
Hospital chief executive Caroline Shaw said: “The deaths of two of our patients, who had tested positive for COVID-19, have been confirmed – a man in his 30s and a woman in her 80s. Our thoughts and condolences are with their families at this difficult time.”
