South Brink/Cromwell Road, Wisbech, has now been reopened.
The road was closed this morning following the discovery of a body. Investigations are ongoing but it is not believed to be suspicious.
Officers were called by the ambulance service just after 7am today (Thursday) following the discovery in Cromwell Road.
South Brink and Cromwell Road were closed as a result of the incident and traffic was diverted South Brink and Weasenham Lane.
This is the second body to be found in the town within a week.
On Monday police appealed for help in identifying a man's body after it was pulled from the river near Wisbech on Friday June 7.
