Upwell man is facing arrest

An arrest warrant has been issued for an Upwell man accused of assaulting a police officer.
Darren Smith, 37, failed to appear as scheduled before King’s Lynn Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
He is charged with assaulting Thomas Semmons at Wisbech on October 19.
The bench issued a warrant not backed for bail for Smith, of Small Lode.
