Walk Like An Amphibian at conservation event near March
Fenland folk are being invited to Walk Like An Amphibian at a conservation event next week.
The Friends of Rings End Nature Reserve are hosting an amphibian walk led by Froglife, the national charity for the conservation of native amphibians, at the reserve on Wednesday, March 29, from 6.30pm to 8pm.
The charity will be showing visitors how to find newts, frogs and toads, identify them and manage their habitats.
Froglife will then be returning for a second Walk Like An Amphibian event on Wednesday, April 19, again from 6.30pm to 8pm.
Anyone attending is advised to wear outdoor clothing and walking boots or wellies, and asked to bring a torch if they have one.
Meet at the Rings End Nature Reserve car park off the Twenty Foot Road, PE15 0BE.
