WEATHER UPDATE - Fenland police urge drivers to slow down in rain after crashes

Police in Fenland are urging drivers to slow down in the poor weather this evening following two collisions, which have happened within the last half-hour.

Officers are currently on their way to the B1101 at Coldham, where a vehicle is reported to have left the road.

A collision has also been reported on Primrose Hill, Doddington.

On its Twitter feed, Fenland police said a short time ago: “Take extra care driving in the wet. There have been a number of collisions reported. Just take an extra five minutes and slow down.”

Forecasters are predicting heavy rain overnight. Warnings of surface water flooding have also been issued.
