World’s Biggest Coffee Morning events in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support:

Parson Drove Chapel, 10am-3.30pm.

Ellis Winters & Co, Market Hill in Chatteris, 10am-noon.

Macmillan and Hudson Day Centre, North Cambs Hospital, Wisbech, 10.15am-11.30am.

10am-12.30pm, Leverington Village Hall, raffle, all welcome.

10am-12pm, Bob and Shirley Bell will be holding a coffee morning in Murrow Village Hall. There will be a raffle, tombola, tea, cakes and coffee. Donations for the tombola would be welcome. Contact 01945 701335.

9am-noon, VIP Hair, Walsoken, cakes, plants, shrubs, flowers, jam, chutney, free-range eggs, knitted babies clothes, jewellery, a raffle and more! All welcome.

• 10am-noon, March Library, Friends of March Library coffee morning. Come along, take a break from the shopping and enjoy a warm welcome in the Wordsworth Room at March Library. Try your luck in the prize raffle. Everyone welcome.

• Tydd St Giles village garage sale, 9am-3pm.

• Tydd St Giles Church flower festival with a unique carpet of flowers, 9am-6pm.

• Trinity Church, High Street, March, 9am-1pm. Table top sale. Hot drinks, cakes and hot snacks.

• Tydd St Giles Church flower festival with a unique carpet of flowers, 1pm to 6pm.

Monday, September 28

• Engage in the Afternoon at March Library, 2pm-3.30pm. Talk about ‘The Buildings of March’, with Jennifer Lawler of the March Society.

Entrance is free and refreshments will be provided.

• Breathe Easy Group, Wisbech, Oynx Court, Norfolk Street, 1.30pm-3.30pm. For people with chronic breathing problems and their carers and relatives. Speaker, raffle and refreshments. Contact 07873 262545.

• Henry Ward’s harvest auction, in aid of RNLI, Bridge Inn, Wisbech St Mary. All donations gratefully received, from garden and home-made produce to antiques or crafts and plants or herbs.

Everyone welcome, includes guess the weight of the pumpkin, shut the box, table skittles and other competitions.

Wednesday, October 7

• 10am-2pm, Long Sutton Market House, Volunteers of Long Sutton Market House present a valuation day with Batemans Auction House. Bring antiques and collectables, £2.50 per item. Book a time or please call in on the day. Refreshments. Tel 01406 366767. All proceeds towards the upkeep of this community building.
