An independent film shot across the Fens and Norfolk drew a packed auditorium to Wisbech’s Luxe Cinema.

The venue hosted a special screening of The Goob last week, followed by an audience question and answer session with film director Guy Myhill and cast member Martin Ferguson.

The film, which won a British Independent Film Award for best achievement in production, looks at the isolation of the local area, and centres on the world of stock car racing.

It features workers from the Friday Bridge work camp, and shots from Outwell, as well as Swaffham race track and Castle Acre in Norfolk.
