Wisbech motorist in court after reports of man hit by car

A Wisbech man has appeared in court in connection with assault and driving offences.
Nathan Large, 37, was arrested on Wednesday night (May 27) following reports of a man having been hit by a car in Sayers Crescent, Wisbech St Mary, on Wednesday afternoon.
He was later charged with one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH), dangerous driving, criminal damage and driving without insurance.
Large, of Ellerby Drive, was remanded in custody and appeared at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on Friday (29), when he was once again remanded in custody.
He is due back in court on Friday June 26.
The victim, a man in his 40s, suffered minor injuries.
