Wisbech Round Table spread Christmas cheer
Wisbech Round Table spread Christmas cheer when they delivered festive hampers.
The club donated 40 hampers packed with delicious Christmas food to members of the town’s St Augustine’s Day Centre. Sam Smith, chairman of the Wisbech Round Table, said the hampers were made possible thanks to generous donations to the club during the town’s Rose Fair festival and Christmas fundraising collections at Tesco supermarket. He said: “We are so happy to support the day centre with Christmas hampers every year, it really makes a difference. “It’s people’s generous donations which enable us to spread a little happiness in Wisbech to individuals – both young and old – or organisations who need a financial helping hand. Many thanks to those who help us help others.”
