Wisbech woman Katie Sindle admitted to drink driving without a driving licence
A woman from Wisbech appeared in court after drink driving without a driving licence or insurance.
Katie Sindle, 29, of South Brink, Wisbech, appeared in King's Lynn's Magistrates Court on Thursday and pleaded guilty to three offences.
Prosecutor Emma Pocknell told the court how police spotted Sindle driving at excessive speed along Hazel Gardens in Wisbech.
Once pulled over, she stood away from the vehicle with police reporting that her eyes were glazed over and being unsteady on her feet.
After taking a roadside breathalyser test, the lowest reading appeared at 40mg per 100ml of breath, the legal limit is 35mg.
Police carried out checks which showed Sindle having no licence or insurance.
Sindle appeared at court unrepresented, she said: "I was suffering with mental health problems at the time.
"I don't really know, I didn't mean for it to happen and I'm not planning on getting a full licence."
Sindle was disqualified from driving for 12 months, meaning she cannot apply for a licence in that time.
She was also fined £120 for drink driving and also ordered to pay a £48 victim surcharge fee.
