Wisbech woman Rachel Harrison given trial date by King's Lynn magistrates after being accused of stealing from Norwich B&Q and Thetford Next stores

A woman is set to face a trial in May after being charged with stealing from two retail stores.

Rachel Harrison, 35, of Worcester Road in Wisbech, appeared at King's Lynn Magistrates' Court on Thursday for a pre-trial hearing.

She is alleged to have committed three offences, including two counts of theft from a shop and one of failing to provide a sample for a Class A drug test.

Harrison has been accused of stealing £875 worth of stock from a Next store in Costessey, Norwich, and £977 worth of items from a B&Q in Thetford.

Magistrates, led by John Hare, granted Harrison conditional bail until May 18, telling her she must not visit either of those stores before that date.

She will return for trial at Norwich Magistrates' Court at 2pm.
