The business has been granted planning permission to build, what they are claiming as, the largest indoor play barn in East Anglia by West Norfolk Borough Council this morning (Monday).

The new facility will add to the existing garden centre and restaurant and could created as many as 100 new jobs.

Work is set to start in 2019 to build the indoor play barn, plus associated facilities including food and drink outlets, a coffee shop, three party rooms, ice cream parlour, sweet shop, Santa’s grotto and seating for 250 guests.

Once complete, the play barn will become the largest in East Anglia at 35,000 square feet.

Director, Joe Curson said: "We are delighted with the decision today and are so pleased to be bringing something new and exciting to the area. The new expansion will bring another 80-100 job opportunities for local people and fresh new venue for children and families to enjoy."

Worzals is a family run business which first opened in 2011. Since then the restaurant has undergone significant expansion, extending the bar and grill in 2015 and more recently enlarging the outdoor dining area.
