11-year-old child taken to hospital after crash with car on Elm Road in Wisbech

A child has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car this morning.

Police were called at 8.08am with reports of a crash involving a pedestrian and a car on Elm Road in Wisbech.

Officers and paramedics attended and the pedestrian, an 11-year-old child, was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

A spokesperson for the police said it is not thought that the child suffered any serious injuries.
