Yuletide cheer from Wisbech school children

A youthful choir from Wisbech Grammar School’s preparatory school has been spreading Yuletide cheer.

The Magdalene House Preparatory School choir has been criss-crossing the town with its blend of carols old and new, and the children aged eight to 11 have brought the Christmas spirit to Peckover House, the Wisbech Tesco store, the Macmillan and Hudson Palliative Care Centre, the North Cambs Hospital, King John House and

Edina Court.

Director of music at Magdalene House, Marie Cunningham said: “I am exceptionally proud of the pupils. They have shown great dedication and enthusiasm in carol singing events across our community and through this have captured the true spirit of Christmas.”
