Three Counties runners enjoy Sandringham 10k race
Three Counties Running Club had a great turnout of 13 runners in the Run Sandringham 10k event a couple of weeks ago.
There were some fantastic runs and great times. First club member home was Matthew Knott in 66th position in a great time of 44:32, Dawn Ball 50:58, Gary Ingrey 51:25, Aaron Petts 53:27, Daniel High 53:51, Lauren Day 54:59, Jayne Spurrier 56:44, Lorraine Parker 56:58, Sarah Melton-Whitelam 58:15, Steve Whitelam 58:31, Melvin Green 1:03:04, Rachael Brittain 1:14:46 and Janette Smith 1:21:14.
Club member, Steve Clarke took part in the Duxford Dash 10k and had a fantastic run, finishing with a great time of 1:07:38.
Sandringham Parkrun had a big turnout of club runners on Saturday. There was 182 runners taking part and TCRC had 12 club runners in attendance. Craig Freestone, who runs long distances, ran his first 5k parkrun, finishing in sixth place in a fantastic time of 20:27PB, Dawn Ball 24:11 (2nd in age,3rd female), Matt Hunter 24:25, Victoria May 26:59, Sarah Johnson 27:27, Sarah Melton-Whitelam 27:28, Steve Whitelam 28:18, Donna Johnson 28:30, Tracey Else 28:32, Tony Lamb 28:49, Laura Vincent 32:36 and Steve Clarke 32:41.
