Three Counties Running Club member tackles Great North Run

Three Counties Running Club's Alfie Grant travelled to Newcastle to take part in the Great North Run.

Grant was among 60,000 runners who took part on the day which is an incredible amount of participants.

The weather could have been better as it rained the entire race but apart from that it was perfect running conditions.

Grant had a fantastic run finishing in 4,487th position and a course personal best of 1.40.56.

Elsewhere, Melvin Green took on the lovely undulating Sawtry 10 miler with milder and drier weather conditions.
