It will be all change for Chatteris Cricket Club this season.

At the recent AGM three new captains were elected to lead the three senior teams.

Matty Hollis takes over from Ant Palmer as 1st XI skipper. Ant led the side to their highest-ever Cambs League finish last season, fourth in Senior 1. This was matched by Paul Foster who led the 2nds to promotion to Junior 2. He stood down at the AGM and will be replaced by Max Kelly.

Michael Hill takes over as Sunday captain from Connor Morton, who led the team to Fenland Trophy success last season. Andy Wool remains as 1st XI vice-captain, with Nathan Brennan elected as 2nd XI vice-captain and Archie Palmer as Sunday vice-captain.

Wes Palmer, Malc Perry, and Andy Wool remain as chairman, secretary and treasurer respectively, with Grant Osbourn being elected vice-chairman.

The club expressed thanks to Rachel Grant who is standing down from her role as welfare officer, a position she has held for the last 10 years.

The AGM also remembered former 1st team skipper and committee member Ken Bailey who passed away recently. Ken played for the club for many years, even celebrating his 75th birthday on the same day as playing for the 2nds!
