Angler Carter picks up Marshland St James Buttonhole Lake cup for second consecutive year

Buttonhole Lake saw their Tuesday night matches come to a conclusion, with Andrew Carter picking up the cup for the second consecutive year.

The points league started back in March, and Andrew even won the final Tuesday match on peg 6. He weighed in at 78lbs 2oz.

Results: 1st A. Carter peg 6 78lbs 2oz; 2nd Mark Grange peg 1 67lbs 3oz; 3rd Aaron Callaby peg 5 66lbs 9oz. Match duration 3 hours 30 mins.

Entry £20: £7 peg fee, £13pools. Peg draw 8.45am; start 10am, finish 4pm. Any angler can fish Buttonhole Lake this Friday for free between 1pm-7pm as long as they say they have read it in the Fenland Citizen.
