English joins Poole in Buttonhole Trophy final




The latest qualifier match for the Buttonhole Tournament Trophy saw Stephen English book in his place in the final with 90lbs 9oz on peg 2. English fished with 8mm pellets on the hook.

The overall match winner Steve Poole was outstanding on the day and caught 140lbs from peg 7. As he had already qualified for the final, English went through.

Tuesday night saw Mark Turner win with 105lbs 7oz. Mark Nash had over 90lbs on peg 3.

Twenty anglers competed in Nick Watson's fun fancy dress match at Buttonhole Lake. Kieron Mcdonagh won the match with 70lbs from peg 4, despite wearing his 'Miss Buttonhole' costume!
