Tydd Gote Angling Club: Pete Emery is one to beat on the North Level at Main Road, pipping Andrew Kilby in Sunday match with rudd and perch

Tydd Gote Angling Club: Pete Emery is the angler to beat on the North Level at Main Road at the moment and followed up his win in the Wednesday Open with a stellar performance to take the Sunday club match with an excellent 22lb 4oz of quality rudd and perch.

Fishing waggler, whip and long pole from the concrete, Pete amassed an impressive net of fish to maggot, pinkie and worm.

Andrew Kilby was on end peg 6 and left it late to snare two tench in the last 20 minutes to go with his silvers for 9lb 4oz and second place, just in front of Steve Borrett’s 8lb 11oz of small roach and rudd to pinkie and maggot from the first half peg above the bridge.
