Tydd Gote Angling Club: match report for w/e March 11.
The tench continue to feed on the North Level at Main Road and put in a welcome appearance at the final Wednesday Open of the season.
Dave Parlett made the long trip over from Norwich and scored a convincing win with eight tench and a big perch for 30lb 1oz caught on feeder fished worm.
After a slow start Dave took his fish steadily through the match for his victory.
Steve Borrett took the runners-up spot with five tench for 17lb 3oz, caught on worm and red maggot on the long pole at 12m and then feeder over the top.
Dennis Houghton was third with 10lb 2oz, just two tench, the best going 7lb.
