Big catches at Buttonhole Lake fishing match

Buttonhole Lake played host to an exciting fishing match last week.

The lake, in Marshland St James, saw a high number of catches last Tuesday.

The latest match, which lasted three and a half hours, saw Jonny Clark (pictured) take the honours with 79lbs 1oz caught from Peg 23.

Clark's all-blue outfit helped to light up the evening.

Richard Rushton finished second best on the evening, catching 60lbs from Peg 20.

John Bishop currently leads the points table, while Roland Rudd sits just three points behind.

There will be a number of matches to look forward to in the coming weeks, with ties regularly held at the lake.
