War of the Worlds race coming to King’s Lynn this weekend – with Fenland drivers in action

Racing returns to King’s Lynn this Saturday with a triple bill of action.

Starting at 5pm, drivers will be taking part in thrilling races such as the Unlimited Banger War of the Worlds team event, F1 Stock Cars and F2 Stock Cars.

Around 50 Unlimited Bangers are expected to be in action for the War of the Worlds. Among the entries will be James Licquorice, who is looking to finish top of the Unlimited Banger World of Shale Entertainer Points.

This meeting also doubles up as the final qualifier for this competition.

Licquorice certainly has a great chance of doing that, and has been in great form in the Unlimited Bangers over the past 12 month. He will be in action for Team Bash.

Dan Clarke will also be making a reappearance after being missing from the track for a couple of months.

Callum Gill is hoping to make his first F1 Stock Car appearance anywhere since suffering from engine damage at the beginning of April.

The parts to sort his power plant have now arrived from the USA, and Gill is hoping to have his engine put back together for Saturday – but has not confirmed his booking yet.

Completing the action are the F2 Stock Car drivers, who are racing in a special white and yellow grade meeting.

Four local drivers are hoping to be in action, with Jess Ward set to make her first King’s Lynn appearance of the season.

Other drivers set to be in action include Sam Russell, Alfie Allard and Daniel Horsepool.
