North Cambs EBF & EWBF bowls county indoor finals: Charlie Waling, Lynne Quibell and Jackie Wilkes qualify for Newark national finals
There were some very close and exciting games and tired players during the North Cambs EBF & EWBF County Indoor finals which took place over the eight hours of play on Saturday.
Congratulations to Charlie Waling who qualified in three events and won all three games, Lynne Quibell who also won three games out of four played and still has a chance of a fourth win in the Ladies mixed pairs, and Jackie Wilkes who also won three events.
They are going to be very busy at Newark.

Men's Triples: Frank Howard, Andy Hailes & David Bailey 19 v Matt Hewitt, Tony Reed & Nigel Eagle 20 after an extra end.
Ladies Triples: Jackie Wilkes, Wendy Featherstone & Lynne Quibell 23 v June Warren, Margaret Pearce & Betty Reeve 10.
Ladies Singles: Jackie Wilkes champion.
Ladies Pairs: Lynne Quibell & Wendy Featherstone v Betty Reeve & June Warren will be played at Sutton St James BC Saturday, February 29 at 12.30pm.

There was a raffle during the day to help pay for the green hire and raised £102, thanks to Margaret Pearce for again selling the raffle tickets.
All North Cambs champions have qualified to play in the National EBF & EWBF Indoor Finals, Newark, between April 21 and 25.
