Wisbech fighter Joe Steed back in the ring on Saturday

Wisbech boxer Joe Steed steps back into the ring at the Norfolk Showground on Saturday night for the first time since February 2020.

The super welterweight is facing off against Jordan Grannum, who has only been stopped once in his 92 fights. Gannum has been in the ring with former European challenger Sam Eggington and rising star Hamzah Sheeaz.

Steed (23), who has won all of his seven fights on points, said: "This is the biggest boxing show to be put on in Norfolk for about a decade and it is great to be part of it.

"It is an opportunity for me to show my supporters that the last 18 months have not been wasted. Grannum is an awkward opponent and has been in the ring with some good opponents so it will be a test to see where I am at.

After this fight I will be resting until after Christmas but come the New Year I would like to be fighting again very soon."
