Burton triumphs in latest Tydd Gote match

Gary Burton led the way at the Tydd Gote AC Sunday club match at Main Road with a lovely mixed net of silvers for 6lb 12oz from peg 10.

With the water returning to some sort of form, Gary took a well deserved victory with some quality roach and perch in his net for a comfortable win.

In second spot with 4lb 13oz on peg 4 was Dave ‘Victor’ Simmonds, who also found some good roach to pinkie, with Dennis Houghton third with 3lb 8oz on peg 12.

Wednesday Open: 1 Ian Benton 9lb 6oz; 2 Pete Emery and John Taylor 7lb 4oz.
