Paris and Boston among the destinations for March athletes
It’s been a busy few weeks for March Athletics Club runners, with strong performances and personal bests recorded at events across the UK and Europe.
Fiona Graham took on the iconic Paris Marathon and crossed the line in 4 hours and 21 minutes — a new personal best, all the more impressive as she’s still on the road to recovery from injury.
Closer to home, Bryan Newman put in a great showing at the Cambridge and Cambourne 10k, clocking a time of 49 minutes and 35 seconds to secure third place in his age category.
Over in Lincolnshire, Victoria May completed the Boston Half Marathon in 1 hour, 56 minutes, and 53 seconds.
Dean Markillie tackled the full marathon there, finishing in an impressive 3:27:45.
In Norfolk, Mike Blackledge battled through illness to finish the marathon in 4:20:04, while Scot Bywater followed with a solid 5:26:07.
Meanwhile, at the Kent Spring Half Marathon, Kai Stoner achieved a new personal best of 1:47:07.
