Steve and Marilyn Sayer raise funds for Prostate Cancer at Gedney Hill Golf Club Captain's Day

Gedney Hill Golf Club's Captain's Day was a big success.

Steve Steels won the men's competition at the weekend with 43 points, while Roz Upton was the ladies' champion with 38.

Captains Steve and Marilyn Sayer were delighted to raise £1,240 for Prostate Cancer on the day.

Fifty members also took part in a Texas Scramble to say farewell to Head Greenkeeper Chris Davies, who leaves at the end of August for a new chapter in New Zealand.
