The grand opening of BoxCross UK, which is based down Regal Road, will take place at 10am with European, Commonwealth and WBA International Champion Gill doing the honours less than a week after his seven-round destruction of Michael Conlan in Northern Ireland.

Also appearing during what promises to be an action-packed day will be British, Commonwealth, European and IBO World Champion Lerrone Richards, WBA continental Champion Hopey Price, Commonwealth Champion Emma Dolan and professional boxers Stevi Levy and Frankie Davey.

Also due to put in an appearance are strength and conditioning coach Bobby Copping, ex-professional footballer Bobby Copping, football and fitness creator Kieran Higgs and Love Island winner Kai Fagan.

Fagan was an islander on season nine of the revived series of Love Island.

He entered the villa on the opening day and was crowned the winner alongside Sanam Harrinanan on day 58.

After the grand opening at 10am, Levy will lead a kids BoxCross session followed by a similar session for adults with James Nixon.

Fight fans will be able to watch the professionals train in an open workout between midday and 2pm before various sessions during the remainder of the afternoon.

As well as there being something for everyone, all attendees will receive a free one-month membership.

The new gym is also looking for a family in the Fenland area to be given a completely free solar panel system.

As well as the installation, a case study will be carried out to show the savings it can generate and the lucky family will also receive 100 per cent of the income generated from the panel.

To be in with a chance of being selected, the family must meet the following criteria:

They must be a single-parent household living with a child below the age of 18 with a registered illness or disability; they must own the property the panels will be installed on and be either employed, self-employed, retired (state pension age) or a full-time carer.

They must have income of less than £10,000 per annum and an annual energy bill that would equate to more than 10 per cent of their yearly income.
