Chatteris potter Joe Perry moved into the fourth round of the UK Snooker Championship with a 6-2 victory over rookie Joe O’Connor on Monday.

This was after disposing of Michael Holt 6-1 and John J Astley 6-0 in previous rounds.

He next faces Judd Trump or Mark King.
