March Golf Club back in the swing of things

Keeping golfers and staff safe following the easing of some lockdown restrictions was a high priority for March Golf Club.

A new online booking system has helped members plan their games and maintain social distancing. Now the club is ready to welcome back the casual golfer.

March chairman Baz Smith said: “We wanted to be absolutely sure we could manage a safe return to golf before we opened up the course for the casual player to take part.

“The course is in fantastic condition and we are ready to welcome non-members.

“We have a variety of tee times available, booking and paying green fees is through a quick call to club secretary Michal or the club’s professional Alex.”

Exercise and fresh air is known to boost physical and mental wellbeing and during the challenges of the pandemic golf is providing some relief from the uncertainties.

Baz added: “We have other offers for the casual player or aspiring member.
